Adil Durrani-Somi Khan: Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Adil Khan has married ‘Bigg Boss 12’ fame Somi Khan. The wedding took place in Somi’s home town Jaipur and then both of them went to Bengaluru for their reception. Recently, in an interview, Somi openly told how both of them met and how their family reacted to the marriage.
‘We met at an awards show’
Somi Khan told, ‘Our marriage took place on March 3, we met during a shooting. But we met for the first time at an award show and it has been 7 months since we knew each other. We initially became friends and then we developed feelings for each other and now we decided to get married.
‘This is not a secret marriage’
On marrying Adil, Somi said, ‘This is not a secret marriage, we wanted to get married but we wanted to keep it private. We did not want any negativity, controversy or publicity stunt. We wanted to keep it only with our family. So our parents fixed the wedding day and we got married that day.
Somi spoke on her bonding with Adil’s family
Somi further said, ‘Mashallah, my bonding with Adil’s family is amazing. I am from Jaipur while Adil’s family is from South so it was great to know each other. All of them are very happy with the marriage. Thank Allah, everything went well.
Somi, who has become the wife of Rakhi’s ex-husband, revealed that, ‘Many rituals were performed by Adil’s family both before and after the marriage. Some lovely rituals took place at my in-laws’ house to welcome me. Adil is now Jaipur’s son-in-law, so many rituals took place and we will soon share photos of our wedding rituals. We had a reception in Bengaluru with Adil’s family.
Somi spoke on Adil-Rakhi dispute
Somi said, ‘I know that Adil has gone through a lot, but now we are setting out on a new journey. So I don’t want to look back, that’s why it’s called the past and it’s over. I never wanted to watch those interviews and videos, I am only looking at my future with Adil and not his past.
